Install Stellar on Bubble

Paste the snippet into Bubble’s header scripts, then deploy to Live. The Development version is not what visitors see.

1. Copy the snippet

In Stellar, open the project for this site and copy the snippet from your domain settings. Leave Anti-Flicker on if you are running visual tests. Direct head install is what makes that work. How anti-flicker works.

2. Paste it on Bubble

  1. In the Bubble editor, open Settings, then SEO / metatags.
  2. Paste the snippet in Script/meta tags in header.
  3. Deploy to Live.
  4. Open the live URL and confirm the script loads.

An HTML element on one page only covers that page. Use the header field so the snippet is on the whole app.

3. Confirm it loaded

  1. Open a published page in a private browser window. Editor and draft previews often hide the snippet.
  2. Open developer tools and go to the Network tab.
  3. Reload and look for stellar.js. If that request is there, the install is done.

If it does not load

  • Deploy to Live. Development does not count.
  • The experiment URL in Stellar has to match the live Bubble page URL.
  • If the page is behind a login, the snippet still needs to be allowed on the public pages you are testing.

More on placement, Google Tag Manager, and flicker is in the general install guide.
