- Verify Elementor maintenance mode or cache plugins are not serving stale HTML without the snippet
- If using Elementor Pro popups, confirm experiments target the correct DOM on popup open
Elementor limitations and gotchas
WordPress optimization plugins
Caching and minification plugins can break or delay the Stellar snippet. Exclude stellar.js and your inline API key from optimization.
Elementor editor vs. live page
Experiments run on the published front-end, not inside the Elementor editor canvas. Always QA on the public URL.
Dynamic WooCommerce widgets
Some WooCommerce Elementor widgets re-render on cart updates. Validate conversion goals on dynamic cart states before scaling traffic.
